Hold the phone to the logo
The Adorix logo marks where the chip sits. Touch the back of the phone to it — no button, no pairing, no waiting.

The phone powers the chip
The phone puts out a small radio field. The chip has no battery of its own; it wakes on that field alone, which is why it never runs out.

Your link opens
The chip hands over one thing: a web address. The phone shows it as a notification, and a tap opens your page in the browser.

No app on either side
Not for you, not for the person you hand it to. Their phone reads it the way it reads any tag.
Nothing private on the chip
It stores a link, not your contacts. Losing the card gives nobody anything they could not see on your page anyway.
Change it whenever
Point the link somewhere new and every future tap follows. The wallet does not need touching.

Where is the chip in the wallet?
A light tap, not a swipe
Hold the phone steady over the logo for a second or two. Sliding it past does not give the chip long enough.
Give it one to two seconds
If nothing happens, shift the phone a centimetre and hold again — the antenna sits in a different place on every model.
Thick cases get in the way
A heavy case can cut the range short. Take it off once to check before deciding the chip is at fault.
Compatibility
Will it work with your phone?
iPhone
iPhone XR and newer read a tap on their own — unlock the screen and hold the top of the phone to the logo. iPhone 7 to X can read it too, but the NFC Tag Reader has to be opened from Control Centre first.
Android
Almost every Android phone from the last decade can read it. NFC has to be switched on in Settings, which most phones do by default. Hold the middle or upper back of the phone to the logo.

Does it need charging?
No. The chip has no battery. It draws the tiny amount of power it needs from the phone held against it, which is why it still works years later.
Does the other person need an app?
No. Their phone opens the link in its normal browser, the same as scanning a QR code.
Can I change where it points?
Yes. The chip holds a link, not your details. Change what that link opens and every future tap follows.
What if I lose the card?
The chip only holds a public link. There is nothing on it to steal, and you can change what the link opens.
How close does the phone need to be?
A centimetre or two. It will not read from across a table, which is exactly what stops it going off by accident.
Does it work without internet?
The tap works, but opening the page needs data or wifi, like any other link.
